Play Guitar! and Play Uke! We know that jamming with others is awesome, and gets kids to love their instruments, not just play them. Kids ages 5 and up can join the fun in our relaxed and creative atmosphere, and learn the fundamentals of guitar or ukulele in a group setting.
Start a Band! Current one on one students can join a band and add the fun of playing and singing with friends to the experience of learning music. These bands perform at local events including the May Fest and Art Walk.
Jam Session For adults who want to get together to play, our weekly jam sessions offer the benefits of creating music together with others in a casual and relaxed atmosphere.
Ready to Play! (ages 2-4) In this fun 45-minute class your child will learn more about music through singing, movement, and play, creating a well-rounded musical foundation for your child. The activities introduced during this class will develop your child’s sense of tonality, rhythm, meter, phrasing, and locomotor movement; this multidimensional approach will improve your child’s understanding of music-making and will prepare them for success in future music classes and lessons.
Early Childhood Music (ages 5-6) If your child is showing an interest in music but is not ready to take on an instrument, this class is for them. Our classes give kids a solid grounding in a musical education that will help them learn an instrument later on. Your child will learn the basics of rhythm, melody and harmony using their ears, eyes, voice, hands and feet, all in a fun welcoming environment.
Sing! Singing in a group is a wonderful experience. In our adult singing group class you will learn the fundamentals of singing and vocal development through songs in four part harmony: soprano, alto, tenor and bass.
Thank you for fostering June's love of music—she gained so much confidence and it was quite amazing to see the difference between her first In Tune recital and this one. She really looks up to Erika and would not have come so far if it weren't for her, and for the caring atmosphere that you've created. I'd also like to say what a great teacher Jesse has been for me as well. As an adult, it's been wonderful to get back into the swing of playing with his help. Looking forward to fitting in a few sessions in the midst of a busy summer! In Tune really is a uniquely special place, so thank you again for all that you do! - Elizabeth & June
Thank YOU very much for your excellent teaching staff who helped Lyric attain her best at school and for recital. I am bursting with PRIDE. - Thank you again! Terrie
