At In Tune we recognize the need to find the right fit between student and teacher. Our teachers will develop a rapport with you (or your child) building a positive environment for growth. The right personality fit helps in this situation. We’ll ask you questions about what type of teacher will work best when we set up lessons.

IDENTIFYING YOUR PERSONAL NEEDS

Think about the kind of musical experience you are looking for.

Do you or your child learning better in a structured environment or do you prefer to go with the flow more. Also consider your goals, do you want to nurture talent to the highest levels or are you taking lessons to build life skills. 

Once you've worked this out also think about what kind of person will suit your or your kids personality best. ​

KEEP LINES OF COMMUNICATION OPEN

When you (or your child) are taking lessons make sure to keep in touch regularly with your teacher to hear about progress and to help get the most out of practice sessions at home.
