PLAY GUITAR!
AGES: All ages welcome
INSTRUMENTS: Acoustic or Electric
TIME: Mon 5-5:45pm

A fun and structured course that teaches beginners the basics of guitar playing. The lessons are designed to teach students how to handle their instrument, develop strumming techniques and learn basic chords, all while learning to play the songs they love. At the end of the session kids have the option to graduate to our intermediate class or move onto one-on-one lessons.
START A BAND!
AGES: 8-11 yrs, 12-14 yrs, 15+ yrs
INSTRUMENTS: Guitar, Bass, Drums, Vocals and all other instruments welcome
TIME: Tues 6pm, Wed 6:30pm and Thurs 6pm
TEACHER: Dylan or Jordan
This class is about learning to work and collaborate with others! As you play songs together you will learn to hear each individual member of the band and play off one another. We require kids to take one-on-one lessons alongside band class to ensure that their individual skills are developed at the same time. All instruments are welcome!
MUSIC MOVES FOR PIANO
AGES: 6-11 yrs old
INSTRUMENTS: Piano
TIME: Tues and Thurs 4pm
TEACHER: Katie
This 12 week group piano class follows the “Music Moves" For Piano curriculum and develops musicianship through foundational activities including listening, movement, creativity, exploration, and improvisation. Ideal for all levels of students who are ready to progress to thinking musically.
PLAY UKE!
AGES: All ages welcome
INSTRUMENTS: Ukulele
TIME: Mon 4pm
TEACHER: Mary
Experience the joy that only playing the ukulele can bring! Learn basic chords, develop your strumming, learn songs and understand chord charts, tab and music notation in these fun lessons. Ukuleles are available for purchase!
IMPROVISATION
AGES: Middle and High Schoolers
INSTRUMENTS: All instruments welcome
TIME: Mon 6pm
TEACHER: Jordan
Pursue the activity of spontaneously making music without specific or scripted preparation. Improvisation is about getting in touch with our creativity, playing what we feel versus what we know. In this class you will freely express yourself without being confined to any particular method or style of music. All instruments welcome.
WRITE A SONG!
AGES: All ages welcome
INSTRUMENTS: No instrument required however Guitar, Uke or Piano is helpful
TIME: Wed 5:30pm
TEACHER: Mary
Learn how to write your own songs. No previous experience with an instrument is necessary. We will explore different song subjects and styles and we will learn simple techniques with rhythm, ukulele, and piano to accompany our songs.
