Drum teacher or multi-instrumentalist who can teach drums!
In Tune Maplewood is looking for qualified drum teachers in Northern New Jersey. We are a an established neighborhood music school where you can set your own hours, teach lessons your way, and share your talents with students as a member of our learning community. At In Tune, you will create your own path with your students, lead engaging and fun weekly lessons, and support the growth of a family-focused music school! Teaching is in-person at our studio. Our pay scale is competitive, and the hours are part-time (8-15+ hours per week).
What we’re looking for:

A drum instructor that will introduce and develop basic techniques, rhythm fundamentals and drum-set technique to their students, alongside end of year recital preparation.

Previous teaching experience and/or educational background in music

Multi-day availability (including either Saturday or Sunday) of at least 8 hours per week, at consistent times

Positive attitude, patience, and ability to work joyfully with students ages 5 through 18 as well as adults

A collaborative approach to teaching, communication skills with students and their families, and eagerness to join In Tune’s learning community

Availability to attend and support student recitals in May/June
