Piano Teacher

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced piano teacher to join our growing music education program.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for music education and the ability to create an engaging, nurturing environment for students of all ages.

 

Position Overview:

Piano instructor to teach 30min, 45 min or 1 hour lessons to students of all Ages.

 

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in Music is preferred 

• Excellent lesson management and communication skills

• Previous teaching experience and/or educational background in music

• Multi-day availability of at least 8 hours per week, at consistent times

• Positive attitude, patience, and ability to work joyfully with students ages 5 through 18 as well as adults

• Track student progress and communicate effectively with parents about their child's musical development

• A collaborative approach to teaching, communication skills with students and their families, and eagerness to join In Tune’s learning community

• Availability to attend and support student recitals in May/June

Schedule and Compensation:

• Part-time position with a minimum of 8 hours a week

• Availability required 2-3 days per week, after school hours. Weekend hours are also a possibility.

• Pay to be discussed and based on experience
